In 2022, around 280,000 DAB+ radios were sold in Switzerland. Added to this are 261,000 DAB+ devices in cars. This means that Swiss citizens have purchased around 6.5 million DAB+ radios so far.

Sales have multiplied in many countries. There are now around 115 million devices worldwide.

In Switzerland, around 6.5 million devices are in use. Over 99% of all new cars here come with DAB+ as standard, 99.5% of the population and almost the entire road network is covered by DAB+. However, there are still gaps indoors and in parking garages. (www.DAB-empfang.ch).
