New studios for Radio Maria in Brig

Two new broadcasting studios are replacing the old existing studio in the old town of Brig. Sumatronic AG supervised the conversion and supplied the studio and broadcasting technology for the new location.

The new studios on Rhonesandstrasse can be used for pre-production or live broadcasts and are set up independently of each other in the event of an emergency. The new premises house the new radio technology, cable connections, editorial and service workstations and a soundproofed wall for the room layout. A small area with an altar offers the possibility of holding a mass with radio microphones. The existing studio in Adliswil is still on air in alternating operation.

Radio Maria is available in almost 100 countries worldwide. With many volunteers in Valais, the new location now offers a little more space for the work. Sumatronic AG took on the coordination and planning work for the entire project. As the general contractor, we coordinated the work of the electricians, carpenters and other tradesmen. During the planning phase, Sumatronic AG developed a rough concept together with the customer so that the functions and requirements were clearly defined for all parties involved. During the construction period from March to November, the necessary installation, integration and configuration work was carried out.

Sumatronic AG would like to thank you for the good and uncomplicated cooperation and is pleased with the positive feedback received from the team.
