DABRF-X4 from Ingenieurbüro Mulka
The new quad DAB+ analysis receiver from Mulka Engineering replaces the established DABRF and offers several new features.
Professional quad DAB+ analysis receiver and quad DAB+ modulator in one device.
Originally developed for public transport to carry digital radio channels on buses and trains, this powerful new platform is used for the DABRF-X4 and replaces the established DABRF test receiver within the DAB-XPlorer family.
The DABRF-X4 is a powerful analysis tool and offers great potential for future enhancements. All existing functions will continue to be supported:
- DAB signal recorder / playback device / analyzer
- Recording of ETI/EDI data streams via antenna input
- Playback of recorded ETI/EDI data streams
- Multiplex Analysis
- Measurement runs and coverage measurement
- SFN Timing Analysis
… and among other things, the following new features have been added:
- RF recording in the form of I/Q samples with a bandwidth of 1.6 MHz
- Simultaneous COFDM modulation of up to 4 different ETI or EDI data streams
- RF measuring point for the AVT MAGIC DABMUX plus monitoring decoder
The DABRF-X4 can be powered either via PoE, a 12V-24V DC power supply unit, or via USB-C (12V).
